Conflux Festival Took Over Maxi Radio
On September 18, Rotterdam’s Conflux Festival took over Maxi Radio, bringing its experimental approach to music to Leiden’s airwaves ahead of its festival edition.
The lineup featured Animistic Beliefs, sign.nah, Puck Wacki (live), DD, Orus Boris and onderdebladeren. Together, they shared different sides of Conflux’s musical world, with Puck Wacki’s live performance adding another dimension to the programme. From DD’s electro selections to onderdebladeren’s ambient set, the takeover offered listeners a range of sounds to explore.
The broadcast preceded Conflux Festival’s September 24–27 programme in Rotterdam. Under the theme Tactics for Cultural Resistance, the festival brought together contemporary art, experimental music and sensory experiences, exploring how art could open spaces for imagination and collective action. The Maxi Radio takeover offered an introduction to that world through the artists and their music.
