Cristina Girón, aka Kat Suragi, is a DJ, journalist, curator, and producer originally from Lima. She is known for her deep research into grooves from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, blending tropical rhythms, italo disco, latin jazz, cumbia, salsa, mambo, Japanese boogie, funk, bossa nova, and Brazilian soul into rich, melodic journeys across time and continents.
